What to bring to the shelter

This checklist is based on the emergency kit recommendations of the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK).

Pack a bag you can grab quickly in an emergency.

Important Notes

Keep your emergency kit packed and ready to grab at all times. There is no time to pack when an emergency strikes.
When authorities instruct you to seek shelter, follow these instructions immediately. Do not try to gather additional belongings.
Official instructions always take priority. Follow announcements via radio, the NINA warning app, or loudspeaker alerts.
Familiarize yourself with the nearest shelter in advance so you know the way in an emergency.
